SERVICES and PRICES
The 1.5T scanner in the MR Core lab is a Philips Intera CV system with 40m Tesla/meter gradients, 60 cm short-length bore and a full coil assortment. The scanner is located on the ground floor of EUH. The scanner is shared with the clinical Radiology service at EUH, but up to 40 hours/week can be used for research. Generally the scanner is used for research from 2:30pm-9:30pm daily and on weekends. Special arrangements can be made for use at other times for clinical studies. All routine and most advanced and developmental imaging sequences can be provided on this scanner.

The current charge for 1.5T scanner times is $465.00 per procedure when Gd-DTPA is not used, and $655.00 when Gd-DTPA is used.
